TRUSTcite membership Terms

These membership terms form a contract between a person wishing to display information relating to themselves, their products and/or services on this Website (you) and the owner of this Website, TRUSTcite Limited (TRUSTcite). On completion of the account activation form, you agree to be bound by both these membership terms and by the Terms of Use / Privacy for this Website.

1. General

In these membership terms:

Profile means a profile created by you of information relating to you, your products and/or services on this Website (including all information contained in that profile);

Website means this Website, including all pages and content on this Website.

2. Personal details

You agree to provide personal details for administrative purposes and to enable a relationship to be established with TRUSTcite.

3. Profile

3.1 You will provide information for a Profile in such form as is reasonably required by TRUSTcite in order for TRUSTcite to display that information on this Website, on a separate page

3.2 You will be responsible for:

3.2.1 the accuracy of the detail and content of your Profile;

3.2.2 ensuring that displaying your Profile on this Website does not breach the intellectual property rights of any third party or any obligation of confidentiality owed by you to any person;

3.2.3 ensuring that your Profile is not illegal, defamatory, obscene or otherwise unsuitable for display on this Website, taking into account the fact that this Website may be accessed by members of the public without age or identity verification.

3.3 You:

3.3.1 authorise TRUSTcite to use any intellectual property contained in your Profile for the purposes contemplated by these membership terms; and

3.3.2 warrant to TRUSTcite that you have the right to use all intellectual property contained in your Profile in the manner contemplated by these membership terms.

3.4 You acknowledge that TRUSTcite does not routinely screen, review, check or otherwise authenticate Profiles. It is your responsibility to make such enquiries as you deem fit to satisfy yourself as to the accuracy and appropriateness of your Profile.

4. Profile Rights

4.1 Activation of your Profile entitles you to:

4.2 TRUSTcite reserves the right to remove any Profile at any time if TRUSTcite reasonably believes that the Profile is in breach of any of these membership terms.

4.3 TRUSTcite will use all reasonable endeavours to keep this Website and all elements affecting TRUSTcite member Profiles up to date, but will not be liable for any delay or unavailability of this Website or any Profile at any time.

5. Suspension (inactivation) or Cancellation of membership

If you wish to suspend or cancel your profile, please contact us.

5.1 If your Profile is suspended / made inactive you will remain a TRUSTcite member and as such, are able to log in and edit your Profile at any time and all feedback and links will remain in place. However, your Profile will not be visible on the web to browsers or other TRUSTcite members.

5.2 Deletion of your Profile is permanent and cancels your membership. Deletion of your Profile means you will no longer be able to log in and edit it and all feedback and links will also be deleted.

5.3 TRUSTcite reserve the right to review member Profiles at any time and suspend / inactivate or delete any profile that does not contain a minimum description of services within 28 days of initial creation at its sole discretion.

6. General

6.1 You agree to indemnify TRUSTcite in respect of any costs, damage, costs or expense (including reasonable enforcement costs, whether incurred on a solicitor and own client basis or otherwise) suffered or incurred by TRUSTcite as a result of a breach by you of any of your obligations under these membership terms.

6.2 All enquiries relating to TRUSTcite member Profiles should be directed to support@trustcite.co.nz.

6.3 TRUSTcite may from time to time amend these membership terms. Any such amendment will come into force immediately upon publication on this page. These membership terms were last updated on 20 February 2008. While continuing to have any Profile on this Website after this date, you are deemed to have agreed to the amended membership terms.
