Our Aim

The aim of the team at PhysioACTION is to provide quality care and expert advice enabling your rehabilitation to full function. Our goal is to see you enjoy the same quality of life you had before injury or pain took away your ability to live and function normally. Of course, initially, not every problem seems big, and in the case of a slight stiffness, pain or lack of mobility that just won’t go away PhysioACTION can offer timely treatment and advice. Don’t put up with the problem. Come in sooner rather than later, and get it sorted out is the message. Don’t leave it till the original situation becomes worse or other problems start setting in. At PhysioACTION you’ll receive not only the appropriate exert treatment but a recovery programme that fits your lifestyle, work or sport.

PhysioAction aims to provide for its clients lasting and pain free maximum return to full function in a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It is a place where work is enjoyable for the staff and there is time for a good laugh whilst providing high quality treatment for patients in accordance with the best physiotherapy practices. PhysioAction The Practice improves the quality of its business and client outcomes through quality planning in accordance with the Accreditation Service, the requirements of the New Zealand Private Physiotherapists Association and the NZSP Code of Rights.

Our Clients

All members of the public may have immediate and direct contact with PhysioAction. In recent years Statutory regulation has enabled physiotherapists to offer a primary contact service. This means that clients insured with the Accident Compensation Corporation and private patients can come to our clinics without being referred. PhysioACTION’s contact with the ACC enables all ACC patients to be treated without charge. Young or old, everyone with an injury caused by an accident is covered by ACC, no matter whether the injury occurred around the house, at work, during sports or in a traffic accident. All ACC paperwork can be filled out on your first visit. The simplified regulations enable the physiotherapist to refer clients elsewhere as required. Though many clients may come to PhysioAction without referral, many come for treatment having been informally referred by parents, friends, teachers or coaches.

Specialities

PhysioACTION provides a full range of servcies for muscular/skeletal problems. They provide expert help in neck and back care and rehabilitation, sports injuries and muscle balance, and occupational syndromes. Pilates and acupuncture are available at PhysioACTION Birkenhead.The practice supports the Glenfield Rugby Club as physios for the Premiere, Seniors, and Under 21s teams. In addition, several Auckland secondary schools use PhysioACTION’s services.
